HD&CO develops retail pad sites that complement their residential communities.  These sites are often located on the fringes of our master planned communities. With a firm grasp of the demographics and established communication with the cities we build in already in place, we can inform retailers about future growth opportunities. And, since we own the land, we are in a position to create quality pad sites. HD&CO understands the retail market and the value of cultivating longterm relationships with high visibility retailers, as well as the smaller, local user.

The 13,000 square foot Shops at Bedford Crossing is HD&CO's current neigborhood retail endeavor.   Just around the corner from Stonecourt (see Reidential Communities Portfolio), The Shops is set to open in October 2005.
