John F. Dickerson - President
John joined Hank Dickerson & Company in 1990 as an associate specializing in land sales. In 1993, he formed Dickerson Development Inc., a successful developer and owner of national build-to-suits, multi-tenant retail centers, and residential master planned communities. Dickerson Design Build Inc. was formed in 2015 to provide design, budgeting, and construction management for medical ground-up and interior finish-out construction. John implements his vast experience in the acquisition, development, construction, and sale of investment properties into every transaction his companies undertake. Lenders, investors, clients, and contractors appreciate his "hands-on" approach and his view that loyal relationships create efficiency and value - "Relationships Matter".
Over the years, he has shown his dedication to selfless service in a variety of capacities. He served as chairman of the Goodwill Dallas Foundation from 2019-21. He and his wife, Melinda, co-chaired the Goodwill Dallas - The Lunch in 2022, and he served as chairman of the board of Goodwill Dallas in 2008. He served as a founding board member of Highlands Bancshares from 2006-10 (now part of Prosperity Bancshares). John has served on The Association of Former Students Board of Directors at Texas A&M University since 2020.
John was born in Dallas and graduated from Highland Park High School. A member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets, he received his Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 1987 and a Master's Degree in Real Estate and Land Economics in 1989. John and his wife, Melinda, have three children: John, Kayla, and Ginger. The family attends Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas. He is also a rancher and an avid big game hunter, completing his Grand Slam of North American Sheep in 2015.

Sam Gruner
Sam Gruner grew up in Navasota, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Ross Volunteer Company. He joined Hank Dickerson & Company in 2001 and specializes in securing sites for new retail and residential development, project leasing, and developing commercial and national accounts. Sam is a development partner and has been an investor in every project since 2001. Sam has served on the Board of Trustees of University Park United Methodist Church and on the Board of The Weekday School. He served as the Board Chair of The Weekday School from 2013 – 2015. Sam and his wife, Brandi, have 2 children. Sam is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

Renee Travaglini
Renee has been the controller for Hank Dickerson & Company since 2010. She brings with her more than 30 years of financial analysis and reporting experience. Prior to joining HDCO, Renee was the chief financial officer for an energy management consulting firm and a cost / budgeting analyst for an aircraft refurbishment and an automotive manufacturing plant. Renee earned her MBA degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX and also holds a Bachelor’s of accounting degree from Clarion State University in Clarion, PA. Renee and her husband Joe and son Matthew are avid sports fans who enjoy cheering on their favorite teams.
Ernie Glotta
Ernie Glotta is a licensed architect and Managing Member of Renee Lynn + GLOTTA Architecture and Planning, a professional design firm delivering comprehensive architectural solutions across a wide range of project types. With over 30 years of experience in architecture, project management, and construction oversight, Ernie leads with a collaborative, detail-oriented approach that has earned the trust of clients nationwide.
Ernie’s extensive career includes managing and delivering complex projects in commercial, retail, healthcare, and institutional sectors. Since founding Renee Lynn + GLOTTA in 2015, he has overseen the successful delivery of more than 50 medical offices, clinics, and urgent care facilities across multiple states, directing a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and consultants. His leadership emphasizes on-time and on-budget project completion while maintaining quality standards and brand consistency.
Before establishing his firm, Ernie held senior leadership roles with prominent firms such as the Richmond Group and CB Richard Ellis. Notably, he served as the Architect of Record for a $43 million regional corporate campus in San Antonio, Texas. His portfolio also includes work for clients such as Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Potbelly Sandwich Works, JPMorganChase, and MassMutual.
Ernie grew up in Lewisville, Texas, and earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma, College of Architecture. He is registered to practice architecture in Texas, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ernie supports charitable causes including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He has two daughters, Elise and Jackie, and enjoys traveling in the Caribbean and spending time at the lake with his wife, Laurie.
